Was using MCP servers in my VS code and they suddenly stopped working. Further troubleshooting isolated this to authentication issue. Cannot Sign in to Azure using new 'Azure Resources' from Visual Studio Code. · Issue #1039 · micros… which in turn pointed me to January 2025 (version 1.97) - changing the Microsoft account setting to msal-no-broker fixed the issue with one extension (powerbi-remote) but other internal extensions are not working. I am raising this issue to understand why msal authtentication setting is not working from VS code and if there is a way to fix this.
I already tried manually cleaning up vscode and reinstalling the same a couple of times. I would either get 404 or 401 errors - would get prompted for my enterprise credentials 3 or 4 times and then it just fails. Account information only shows my Github accoun and not my corp account.
