Keep getting HTTP 413 Error

I keep getting an HTTP 413 content too large error even when I am not entering much text of pasting anything in the chat. I had been pasting images but not for some time. Now I cannot even summarize the context to paste to a new chat.

@miromanowski How many images did you have? Could you be more specific on the model/prompt you used?

This likely root cause of the error is overpopulating of chat request with images in BASE64 format, which has been fixed in this PR: #308901.

The fix is available in latest VS Code Insiders and Stable version 1.116 and beyond.
Please update to this (or later) version and verify if the issue is resolved.

If you still can reproduce the error with 413 response code in chat, please ping me with the following information:

• VS Code version your are running
• What language model/version are you using?
• What was the chat doing immediately before it responded with the error?
• If there were images the chat was inspecting, how many were there and what were their sizes?
