Apart from "edit the target url" itself, there's no way to edit a) expire date b) alias c) temporarily disable it

Correct? Are these planned for implementation?
Or is a link supposed to be deleted and re-created?

That's correct. I might implement editing the expiry date, but not the alias since I think you should just create a new link at that point.

For temporarily disabling, I'll have to give it some thought. If it can be done reliably without a change in the schema, I can see some benefit in doing so.
