Fincept Terminal is available under two licensing options:

1. AGPL-3.0 License (Open Source)
   - Free for personal and educational use
   - Free to use with your own data sources
   - Requires sharing modifications if you distribute or provide as a network service
   - Full source code must remain available under AGPL-3.0

2. Commercial License
   - Required for any business/commercial use
   - Required to access Fincept Data Sources and APIs for commercial purposes
   - No obligation to share source code
   - Priority support available

FINCEPT DATA & API

The Fincept Terminal software is free under AGPL-3.0.

Fincept Data Sources and APIs are separate services that require:
- Commercial License for business use ($10,200/year)
- University License for academic institutions ($799/month)
- Free for personal/educational individual use

TRADEMARK NOTICE

"Fincept Terminal", "Fincept", and the Fincept logo are trademarks of
Fincept Corporation. All rights reserved.

You may not use these trademarks without explicit written permission,
except as necessary to comply with the AGPL-3.0 attribution requirements.

Use of the trademarks to promote derivative works or competing products
is strictly prohibited without a trademark license agreement.

ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS

While the AGPL-3.0 grants broad freedoms, the following restrictions apply:

1. NETWORK USE REQUIREMENT
   If you run a modified version of Fincept Terminal as a network service
   (SaaS, cloud platform, web application), you MUST:
   - Provide users with access to the complete source code
   - Clearly indicate the source is available
   - Make the source available via download or repository access

2. ATTRIBUTION REQUIREMENT
   You must retain all copyright notices, attribution statements, and
   this license file in any distribution or derivative work.

3. TRADEMARK RESTRICTIONS
   - Cannot use "Fincept" branding without permission
   - Must clearly differentiate derivative works from the official version
   - Cannot imply endorsement by Fincept Corporation

CONTRIBUTOR LICENSE AGREEMENT

By contributing to Fincept Terminal, you agree that:

1. You grant Fincept Corporation a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive,
   royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your
   contributions under both AGPL-3.0 and commercial licenses.

2. You certify that you have the right to make the contribution and grant
   these licenses.

3. Your contributions are provided "as-is" without warranties.

4. Contributing does not grant you commercial rights to use Fincept
   Data Sources and APIs.

COMMERCIAL USE
================================================================================

You NEED a commercial license if you:
- Use Fincept Terminal for any business purpose
- Use Fincept Data Sources or APIs commercially
- Are a startup (even with $0 revenue)
- Use internally at a company
- Offer as SaaS or cloud platform
- White-label or resell

You DON'T need a commercial license if you:
- Use for personal learning
- Are an individual student
- Use with your own data sources (non-commercial)
- Contribute to the open-source project
